*** WATCH *** ROBERT KENNEDY SWORN IN SURROUNDED BY FAMILY IN OVAL OFFICE
WASHINGTON, DC – [VIDO NOTES] – Robert “Bobby” Kennedy Jr. has many friends and supporters here on the Cape, especially here in the Hyannis/Hyannis Port area. Kennedy also has a number of local detractors, a number which has suddenly grown since he decided to accept Trump’s nomination to run the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The mission is for RFK Jr. to improve the U.S. Healthcare system, one seen as failing and flawed by the incoming administration. RFK Jr. was surrounded by family and friends during yesterday’s Oval Office ceremony, as he thanked them for their support. Kennedy briefly recalled his first time in the Oval Office, about 63 years ago in 1962, when he met with his uncle, President John F. Kennedy, and talked about the environment. RFK Jr. also remembered his uncle’s commitment to restoring physical fitness in the country. Yesterday, Kennedy briefly outlined his plan to restore overall health in the United States. The following HN video includes Robert F. Kennedy’s remarks after having been just officially sworn in as the 26th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
