At about 7:30PM, a SUV traveling along Route 134, spun-out, crashed through a fence, and rolled over down into the Patriot Square parking lot.
The driver told HN that weather and bald tires caused her to “spin out.” Incredibly, she didn’t receive a scratch, a source telling HN that her SUV comes equipped with extra off-road safety features…
An electricity meter post was struck and knocked over when the vehicle landed in the parking lot.
Gas spilled onto lot, creating a hazard, especially with the damaged electrical post so nearby.
Firefighters stood by with hoses charged, waiting for Eversource Energy to arrive and shut off the power.
