UPDATE – Dec. 29, 2021: According to BPD records LOUIS ANTHONY DELGIZZI, age 49, of Hyannis was charged with Speeding, Failure to Stop for Police, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License, Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Number Plate Violation, and No Inspection Sticker…
WEST YARMOUTH – As you will hear in the following HN Video, a man driving a white SUV allegedly failed to stop for a Barnstable Police patrolman earlier this evening on Yarmouth Road in Hyannis. According to radio transmissions, a brief pursuit crossed over into West Yarmouth, ending in a driveway on Jefferson Ave. A Taser was reportedly deployed during some kind of struggle with the driver. The driver was eventually arrested and transported to BPD Headquarters to be booked on motor vehicle charges, including Failure to Stop for a Police Officer.
