Two taken to Cape Cod Hospital after vehicle crashes into West Yarmouth hotel room… [HN VIDEO]
WEST YARMOUTH – [DEVELOPING] – Police and firefighters rushed to the Cape Sands Inn on Route 28 early this morning (sometime around 2am) after a car drove into one of the rooms. As you will see in the following video, firefighters had to use to Jaws of Life to remove the vehicle’s door in order to reach one of the patients. The first patient, a young adult male, was transported first to Cape Cod Hospital. The second patient, a woman, was conscious, alert and speaking with first responders prior to also being transported to CCH…
The building inspector was called to the scene. A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit also responded to take photos.
The Yarmouth Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. No further details available at the time of this report. The following HN Video documents the scene just moments after the arrival of police and firefighters.
