WEST YARMOUTH – As you will see in the following HN Video, Yarmouth Patrol Officers quickly caught up to and arrested an adult male allegedly just seen smashing a globe shaped light fixture at the entrance to The Cove resort early this morning. A security guard was in the right place at the right time and quickly relayed what he had allegedly just witnessed to police.
A snappy response enabled officers to swiftly capture the suspect near the intersection of Route 28 and Baxter Ave, about two blocks from the scene. The suspect was handcuffed and detained in the back of a YPD cruiser as the investigation continued…
The security guard was then transported to Route 28 and Baxter Ave, where he reportedly identified the male as the person who had vandalized the light fixture.
