Shots fired in Hyannis… one person hit… patient arrived at CCH over 2 hours later…

UPDATE – 9:30AM: Victim was eventually treated and released from CCH for a gunshot wound to the knee. [Developing]

REPORT – 12:10AM: Earlier last evening, at about 9:15pm, Barnstable Police responded to the area of 15 Fresh Holes Road in Hyannis for shots fired.
According to sources, a number of shell casings were found.
Police also received a report someone may have been shot in the knee, but upon arrival they were unable to locate a shooting victim.
A perimeter was established; K-9 teams were called in and a search ensued. Police were looking for suspects, one who was possibly hit during the gun play…
Evidence was collected at the scene. Photos were taken.
Just over two hours later, one of the involved subjects showed up at the CCH emergency room for treatment.
Police immediately responded to CCH and the investigation is still ongoing at the time of this report.
