The following highly edited video illustrates a very volatile domestic violence call at 2:00AM this morning, at an address in Hyannis. Fortunately in this case, nobody was seriously injured… or killed.
Domestic violence can be perpetrated by all ages and genders, with devastating consequences for everyone involved.
The bottom line: nobody ever deserves to feel threatened where they should feel the safest of all, at home.
If you are the “victim” of domestic violence it’s up to you to take steps toward safely becoming a “survivor.” Calling the police is often the first step in that process.
