UPDATE – A DOG NAMED “FELONY?” – Puppy of child endangerment suspects in care of animal control… [Video]
UPDATE: Yarmouth Animal Control Officer Rick Nelson reports the suspects’ dog is actually named “Felony,” not Melanie as initially reported. The dog is now in the custody of relatives of the suspects, after a short stay with Yarmouth Animal Control… (According to ACO Nelson, this was not the first time he has encountered a dog named “Felony.”)
Also, another source is reporting police found the 60″ flat screen TV hidden in a closet… check back for updates…
WEST YARMOUTH – Melanie (now identified as “Felony”) the pit bull puppy belonging to larceny and child endangerment suspects, Lisa Degerolamo and Daniel McLaughlin, came right out and discretely did her business behind a patch of small trees…
… she had been locked inside the suspects’ 317 Camp Street apartment and probably needed “to go.”
According to sources, both suspects are still in custody and Melanie (A.K.A. “Felony”) was in need of someone to take care of her.
At about 1:30pm today, Yarmouth Animal Control, with the assistance of Yarmouth patrol officers, took custody of Melanie (A.K.A. “Felony”) for a brief stay… or possibly longer until the mother of one of the suspects can come to the Cape and retrieve her.
Melanie (A.K.A. “Felony”) appeared to be in good health and was happy to be outside in the company of people.
