CRASH: Moose Lodge #2270 takes a hit… [VIDEO]
SOUTH YARMOUTH – Police and rescue responded to Moose Lodge #2270 located at 769 Route 28 after a brother Moose suddenly backed into the building last night. The driver was reportedly parked in a space with a sign which read “Be Moosely. Save this space for members needing assistance.” (Several of these signs are located up close near the entrance and appear to be some sort of space designated for handicapped moose…)
According to their website, “The Loyal Order of the Moose,” “The Women of the Moose,” and the “Moose Legion” make up an international organization of men and women dedicated to caring for the young and old, bringing communities closer together, and celebrating life.
According to sources, the driver of the Mercury Grand Marquis was not seriously injured, but was eventually transported to CCH…
A building inspector was reportedly called in to check the damages and soundness of the structure…
Moose members immediately broke out power tools and wasted no time patching up the side of their lodge. They were like busy little beavers, accept they were actually moose!
The Yarmouth Police are investigating the crash.
