Firefighters rescued trapped woman from rolled-over vehicle… [VIDEO]
CENTERVILLE – At about 7:05pm, police and rescue rushed to Waterside Drive to help a woman who was trapped inside a vehicle that had turned over onto its side.
Rescue workers monitored the woman as other firefighters stabilized the vehicle by strapping it to nearby trees. Firefighters also used special braces to prevent the vehicle from falling over. They cut away the windshield using an ax and saw.
The woman was carefully extracted and secured onto a stretcher.
The female accident victim was transported to CCH by COMM Rescue. The patient had what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Barnstable Police.
