STABBING: Marstons Mills man arrived at CCH with 3 stab wounds… investigation active and ongoing… [Video]
HYANNIS – A 44-year-old Marstons Mills man arrived at the CCH emergency room after being stabbed 3 times in the left arm last evening.
Here’s what we know at this point:
At about 8:22PM, Barnstable Patrol Units were dispatched to the Cape Cod Hospital Emergency Room triage area after the victim showed up with stab wounds.
Police learned the man had been stabbed while seated inside a truck in the area of Steve & Sues Ice Cream on West Main Street.
The victim was driven to CCH in that same truck…
It was then said that a friend was driving the truck back towards Marstons Mills to pick up the victim’s girlfriend.
Police met up with that truck in front of the Tedeschi Food Shop at the Centerville Shopping Plaza on Route 28.
Police focused on investigating the maroon Dodge Ram for possible evidence left behind by the stabbing suspect.
A member of the Barnstable Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit took photos and dusted for finger prints.
The victim’s injuries were not believed to be life threatening at the time of this report.
Although the investigation into this crime is very active and ongoing, police are confident there is not an ongoing threat to the general public.
The following video highlights the scene shortly after the truck was located parked in front of the Tedeschi Food Shop in Centerville.
